A propos de la v1 (04/2004):
Elektrik Piano recrée 4 pianos électriques célèbres : les Fender Rhodes MK I et MK II, Hohner Clavinet E7, et Wurlitzer A 200.
La modélisation physique ultra sophistiquée n'étant aujourd'hui pas enore de mise, il s'agit une fois de plus d'un instrument basé sur le moteur de Kompakt, l'excellent sampler également signé NI.
A l'heure où nous écrivons ces lignes, il n'existe pas de version de démonstration du logiciel.
Malgré tout, des démos audio sont disponibles et laissent présager d'un instrument qui certes soutient la comparaison par rapport à ce que propose la concurrence, mais manque encore de réalisme et surtout, surtout ! de chaleur...
Vous pourrez certainement vous en servir pour réaliser des compositions de house ou des brouillons, mais ce n'est pas encore avec Elektrik Piano que vous pourrez vous alléger de 50 kg pendant vos tournées.
